Manager Quickstart Guide
Get started as a Wattery manager – managing charging access, pricing, and communication.
Manager tasks
As a manager, you manage charging access rights, inform users, monitor pricing, and track charging station status. All management is done in the Wattery portal.
Open portalLog in to the portal
Log in to the Wattery manager portal at user.wattery.io. If you have been granted manager rights, first register via the invitation you received.
- Save user.wattery.io as a bookmark or to your home screen for easy access
- The manager view opens automatically once rights have been granted
Check the charging price
Make sure the charging price is set correctly. The price is shown to the end user as it is.
- Go to Area Management and select the area
- Click the Edit area button
- Check the Pricing section – the price should include electricity transfer, electricity tax, energy, and Wattery's service fee
Billing service customers: Create Stripe Connect account
If you have selected Wattery's billing service, create a Stripe Connect account through the portal. Go to Client account → Billing Service and fill in the required information.
- The Stripe Connect representative is responsible for keeping the account information up to date
Send a notice to end users
Inform residents or users about the charging system launch. You can use the message template below.
Message template:
Hi, Our property now has the Wattery charging system in use. Download the Wattery Charge app from the App Store or Google Play. Alternatively, log in at user.wattery.io. • Register as a user • Add a payment card • Send your username (email) to the manager More info: wattery.io/quick-start-guide
- Include the manager's email address in the message so users can send their username
Add charging access
Once the end user has registered and provided their email, add charging access for them in the portal.
- Go to Area Management in the portal
- Select the correct area or charging station
- Open the Authorization tab
- Add the user's email address
Monitor charging station status
As a manager, it is your responsibility to ensure that charging stations are operational. In the portal, you can see device status and any fault reports.
- Wattery sends an automatic email notification if a charging station enters a fault state
- Respond to fault reports and contact Wattery support if needed
- Inform users about any disruptions or maintenance activities
